My artwork celebrates wildlife and plants in the outdoors, and captures domestic critters that share my life. I work hard to cultivate habitat for wild animals, but I respect what animal companions do for people, and what they sometimes put up with for their people. Sometimes art is a way of memorializing what we care about.  With our pets and livestock, if things are going according to plan, we always outlast them.
