Teaching

The hands-on efforts of people – sportsmen, environmentalists, gardeners, school groups, tribes, and farmers –enhance and preserve wildlife habitat more effectively than any project can.  Individuals, groups, and whole communities feel a sense of pride and place that brings them back to work on a project, long after a restoration grant would have expired.  It’s an honor to volunteer as a teacher for people like these.
